obs posting

Today marks e ending of my obs posting at nuh...i must say this is a posting which i truely enjoy and like...although it was only a short posting of 4 days...but i really enjoy it very much!!!!...haha...be it at e ward...nursery or at e delivery suite...

1st day posting was just a introduction and orientation to e ward...nothing much in particular...

2nd day i was posted to e delivery suite with another student from grp 41...heard from e morning students posted there tt they didnt see any normal delivery in e morning...but they can c one cesar...tt time was so envious...ah...cos they only allow 2 students at one time...so after tt...me and another student keep praying tt mothers there will give birth soon...haha..i can say only we students are very excited to c a birth..then finally at 1500+ finally got one mother gg to give birth...yeah...so we went in and encourage e mother to push...haha...ok..details i wont write here la...but tt day witness 2 live births...yeah!!!!..not scary to me...but very fun...and it really makes my day to c a new life arriving in this world...

3rd day...posted to e ward...do normal things lor...para and admission...lots of admission...haha...nothing much..busy but interesting...lucky got aircon..if not so hot...

4th day..which is today and last day..posted to e nursery...previous days i thought will hav few babies only..but this morning went in got a shock..hav like 16 babies...whoa...crowded in e small nursery...then lecturer came in and supervised us bathing...thought it will be quite difficult...but no lehx..haha...one sad thing is e baby keep crying....fierce baby man...then later feed e baby...then he didnt cry anymore..haha...fed lots of babies today...so nice to carry...i love babies...so cute...one point here...got one baby whom i witness e birth...i oso got nurse her today...she was quite cranky though..crying and screaming...pains my heart...so i keep carrying her...for like throughout my shift..carry her on and off...smart gal..once i carry her will stop crying..then will look at me..i mux look at here oso..if not she cry...ahhh..so cute...but then later put her down...cos in e end will spoil her with all e carrying ba..haha...baby must be independent...haha...

Overall nice posting...haha...maybe because i love babies...hmm...i want to go back there...haha...maybe next time i shall find a job to specially take care of babies only..haha...
