fire alert
Firstly, i was telling my sis sto close the door...cos must be the ah tiongs next door cooking tt's why so smelly and smoky...next...my mum was telling my aunt on the phone that downstairs very noisy...got ppl screaming and shouting...till then...i was still watching tv with my sis...happily...next thing we know..the coffee shop next block is on fire!!!...whoa...i think it is considered the biggest fire i've seen live in action (not counting those in tv shows)...a lot of ppl crowding the area...a policecar is there...but they arent doing anything...wierd...tot they should at least block off that area??...coffee shop lehx...and tt area is the cooking area so definitely got a lot of flammable objects ma??...few mins after the fire engine arrived...then they started blocking ppl and shoo-ing ppl away from the scene....and they actually used the water hose...the one where u connect to the red colour water thinggi...i dunno what u call that la..so it was really quite happening...cos rarely we get to see such incidents..needing to climb ladders spray water...but main thing is ...i think i am so not alert lor...
maybe i am just too into the novel which i just finished reading...by giddens... 精準的失控...it is a rather pervert or rather crazy book...haha...but after finishing..i think i am starting to understand why he uses such methodology to describe his plot...the rationale behind all the wierd plot...i am beginning to understand...all i can say he is really a good writer..in the end...the story just summarise what will u do if u can go back in time to change something??..and bear in mind..what u change...will not be just affecting u...it can cause a great impact in all the others around u...butterfly effect...which i strongly believe in...anyway...no point of me gg in details about the book...if u read it then u know what i mean...ya...and i must be really mad to like this book...
so from now on...i will try to read all the books written by him...although the way he write stories are rather crazy...but so what????...the world is crazy in a way as well...
aniwae...spent this week rather fruitfully..
monday went wild wild wet with emily and paula...it is a joke to think about this...intended to go je swimming complex de...end up it is closed...and everywhere else is like raining...so went to the east instead...thankfully it is all sunny there...had a fun time...and it is due to this day that we decided...seriously to go pick up guitar...
tues...went out with emily to funan and plaza sing...to find out more about guitar courses...even went back to bb to find out more...but with no avail...
wed..went out with emily...ya again...to swim...in the end i am the only one swimming...i think my stamina improved...i can swim 4laps le...wooohoo...end up getting burnt as well...went to jp to find out more about guitar courses again...went clementi also..but still...did not find what we want
thurs...yes...went out with emily again...first i went to mediacorp to collect jay chou's concert merchandise which i won from iweekly...then went bugis to meet emily for lunch at lets sweets...it is rather random...saw the pics on uweekly tt's why tempted to go try...well the caramel sea salt cake is really nice...other than that...it was ok la...not exactly fantastic...just find the 60mins restrictions too short..we were like stuffing food in cos we wanted to try all the cakes and stuff...but of cos we cant...after that went comex...initially intended to only spend not more than 2hours there...in the end..we were so indecisive...i managed to psycho emily to get a sennheiser brand earphone instead of audio tech...successful...then we spend hours at the sennheiser booth to try the earphones...namely the cx 300-ii in ear and hd 228 headphones...in the end...we both get the cx 300-ii..as it was more convenient...though the headphones were really great...explosive bass effects really...but it was really bulky and needs a great volume to power it up...so we decided to get the in ear instead...haix...initially i wanted to get ie 6 de...but it is so pricely at 299...haix...maybe next ear ba..but i wont give up on that...
yup...after comex went to funan to ask more about guitar courses again..this time...we decided...but havent register yet la...cos need emily to confirm her roster etc...also went to penisular there to look at a lot of different guitars...the electric ones all look so cool...haha...oops...but i want to learn acoustic la...so it is more or less decided...that we will go there next tues to register and to buy a new guitar...excited +++ ...although i have learnt musical instruments for more than 10yrs...it is the first time i am learning this outside of school..and first time learning something not related to chineses instruments...hope i have the patience to perserve on...if i can master this...the next thing to try will be the drums le...ok..i am getting too far...
aniwae...it is really crazy to meet the same person for 4days in a row!!!...my first time doing such things...lol...luckily we got a lot of topics to talk about...haha...aniwae..anticipating learning guitar officially..
